Currently SE/EE at SCE. Doesn’t matter how hard I try (which I am), management keeps telling me I have to put in the time to get promoted which I think is bs. Constantly raising my hand for new projects/project management and I feel like it’s going to get me nowhere. I have former experience from another profession I was in before which is why I’m able to lead and manage projects w/ current yoe. Looking for an organization where growth is dependent on performance and not serving the time. Looking for startups or software roles. Also looking for feedback, am I being too ambitious?
