I want to specialize on a cloud platform and become a certified cloud solutions architect.

I am located in the Munich area and a lot of companies are currently using AWS. A lot of new business is also going to azure at the moment. According to market share numbers, GCP is also growing fast, but that's not reflected in my local job market yet.

Don't like AWS and there already plenty of people in the job market with a lot more experience so it's either GCP or azure for me.

Because I already have 2 years of experience with GCP, that would be the easiest path for me but I am hesitant because a lot of European companies seem to prefer AWS/MS over Google with their data.

Azure looks good and I think it would not not take much longer to get the certificate as studying is required for both. Should I still go with GCP or go with azure where I know the job market already exists?

What's a realistic TC for either of these roles in Germany or Switzerland?

The band is wide, depends on your YoE and where you enter: realistic median for Mü is around 90k€ TC for mid-level with 3-6 YoE. Top of the mid-band is 120k€ (upper L4 @ GCP, upper L5 @ AWS). For senior the band is wide: all from 100k€ to 160k€ TC (like L6 @ AWS).

Also, whereas relative annual growths of Azure/GCP are solid, the shear absolute growth of AWS is greater. Furthermore, the market share of AWS is greater than both Azure and GCP combined, which explains the number of AWS architects. Not trying to change your mind (I have GCP certifications myself), but just giving it another perspective.

You might want to consider specializing in open source platforms succh as Kubernetes Admin Cert, linux, etc
