So my friend recently got laid off and there is no severance period etc. So her 60 day clock started ticking 1 week back. Now premium processing is not available till sometime. So if a company is willing to file for her h1b transfer, can she still join on a receipt?
What happens if for some reason the h1b gets denied or she gets a rfe?
Before you ask me to ask an immigration lawyer, I have already sent an email.
(Edited Laid to laid off as someone pointed out, “grammar is very important”)
