My friend was recently put on PIP in Amazon and her PIP ends in September. Her H1B was picked and approved this year under change of status and activates on October 1. Her F1 cap gap extension expires on September 30th. In case she is not able to meet the performance expectations during PIP and her employment terminates in September before the H1B starts, are there any options other than leaving the country? #layoff #workvisa
