Hi all, I just got an offer from Google L3 (new grad). Product area is platforms and ecosystems. I'm a little worried because it sounds like super low-level/proprietary stuff? They make Chrome, Google Play, Android, etc.
How easy would it be to job hop and go back to more mainstream development (generalist/full stack/high level/web) after a few years in this org? Low level/OS is not my area of interest.
Any googlers, how is growth/promo/wlb in this product area, is it a good area?
Edit: for context, my other offer is FB to boot camp
