Leave job to become an Amazon Delivery service Partner?

Is anyone considering applying to get one of these? I'm not sure the money is that great, looks like max about $300k/yr. I'm tired of working in the corporate world and would really like to do something else.

The $300k per year was with a 40 vehicle fleet, which is a considerable operation. Amazon doesn't care about individual people making money, just themselves. They want to offload the liability and reduce their costs.

If you believe in it go for it. Entrepreneurs are always criticized for doing something out of the league.

This is pure operations -- managing people and trucks for a profit that's largely at Amazon's discretion. This isn't being an entrepreuner. If you want to be one, find something else where you are adding some value and your profit is not capped by an overlord.

Profit is capped at 7500 per truck. To manage a fleet of 40 vehicles, you have to manage 50+ employee/contractor force. If it was that easy, do you think Bezos would leave money on the table to some guy with no delivery experience and only 10k investment?

Is the $300K profit before or after the owner takes their salary?

Saw an unmarked truck bring Amazon packages...or was I mistaken? Packges stolen from porches, shipping costs, prime subscription increase, state tax, not cheapest products, dinged for return shipping... all good? 300k seems low!
