Hi Amazon folks! I heard there’s a policy at Amazon which, if an individual left the company, he/she can still go back to Amazon within 6 months? Can someone confirm if such policy is true (or exists at Amazon)?
More irrelevant.
You already left amazon? How long have you been away?
It’s called being a boomerang and wouldn’t require an interview with a BR to be brought back at the same level within 6 months. It’s treated like an internal transfer. You also get to keep your vacation level. Any level change or outside 6 months will require a BR. If it’s outside a year it’s a full loop. All of this is dependent if you are rehire eligible.
Is Microsoft that worse than Amazon that you're thinking of coming back?
Also as far as I know your stock vesting schedule also remains the same if you join back within a year, had read this somewhere. Don't know the details.
it's true. Your phonetool remains the same within a year after leaving. Reasons for coming back? What was your level at Amazon?
