For a firmeare engineer is it really necessary to work on Leetcode hard ptoblems? Most of the LC hard problems are so far out in left field compared to what we do on a daily basis....
Do they ask firmware engineer to build cloud distributed systems as well?
Tech is eating the world. Even my babysitter needs to know how to reverse a linked list
I’m still waiting for a *usefull* answer...
It shouldn't be but probably is.
Firmware engineer or not don’t focus on hard. Its stupid to ask hard. That said, some listed as hard are not really hard so i’d suggest to do only company tagged hards. But there are some sad people who might still ask hard.
probably not, but optimization is still a huge part of the job for embedded/firmware engineers, right? like bubble sort is more efficient in some cases despite having n^2 time complexity
For embedded engineers an efficient memcpy is a bigger requirement than looking at sort’s efficiency. For us number if swaps matter more though, so you’re right in a way.

My lawn care professional interviews have been disappointing. I have not been able to find anyone that can mow my lawn that can complete at least 3 Leetcode hard problems.
WTF?
