Interviewers on Blind, do you ask leetcode hard problems for phone interviews?
Typically NO, for follow up I.e 2nd phone screen when first interviewer is not confidant , I might ask hard (lower end) to get more signal on problem solving.
People who do should be fired :) no I never do. Because I don’t know how to solve them.
Thanks my neighbor
I got asked one, I aced it...then screwed up a medium in f2f.
Uber asked me LC hard. Luckily I passed
"Luckily"... are you sure?
Amazon some telegu guy asked me leetcode hard who couldn't even speak proper English and kept interrupting every sentence I spoke. https://leetcode.com/problems/reverse-nodes-in-k-group/description Every chienese ever interviewed me always asked leetcode hard Uber: create a binary tree from operations and operators
Assholes.
Some Chinese bit** from Wework asked me a leetcode hard question, she herself didn't understand the question and was unable to answer my follow up questions. I coded a messed up solution, which she accepted as right.
I asked a Leetcode hard this week. It was one of the easier ones though IMO

What if BJP loses?
Sometimes as a follow up to a medium one if there’s still some time left.
Yep, once I got "letter combinations of a phone number" and solved it way before time was up. Looked like they didnt have any other question so they moved on to a variation of "word break 2"
