We have heard a lot of times that Netflix is dead, Disney+, Hulu, HBO, etc have equally good content or better and because of that Netflix will continue to lose customers. But are you really gonna stop using it? They do have good shows regardless of what many say (e.g: Squid Games, Bridgerton, Ozark, etc).
Once in a few months, they come up with a new show and then it becomes a big hit, so are ppl really unsubscribing or is it just the moochers getting kicked out by original subscribers and will be back later. And FUD spread but short-sellers.

  • With so many options I cancel and resubscribe as needed. No reason to pay for a full year.

  • If they start charging for account sharing, I'm out.

If you have young kids, it's hard to cancel Netflix because they have such volume. Disney has good movies but once you've seen them there isn't much (of course kids tend to want to watch their favorite movie over and over). I would happily cancel Netflix if it weren't for them. We get HBO every few months when there is enough for us to binge watch in a month and then cancel it. I could see doing the same for all streaming services.

  • The question for me isn’t really to cancel Netflix forever. But perhaps I would cancel until a new season of my shows come out.

We have Netflix right now but will probably unsubscribe because of the price hike. We'll subscribe once in a while when new seasons of shows we like are out, like Squid Game, Stranger Things, Ozark and so on.

We'll also probably have it for a couple of months when the Great British Baking Show is on
