* I previously worked a 80 hour SWE job * To grow was to output more. To output more, was longer hours * Greed for TC and career, I lost my girlfriend at that time * Depressed, burned out and alone I left my employer * Expected the same here but found a place where work life balance actually meant a balance * With the extra time I was able to concentrate on my personal emotional and mental health. Was able to lose 25 pounds in 5 months. * With such an emphasis on empowering creativity internally, I started learning photography and started enjoying nature and exploring places * With a better mental outlook, I acknowledged my mistakes that drove my past relationship down. More importantly, I have learned to accept it This isn’t meant to advertise Adobe but a channel for me to express my gratitude for an employer who pulled me out from rock-bottom. TC: 220k / 3 YOE

If you were working 80 hours week, any other company would have been good for you!! Congratulations for believing in yourself and pulling yourself out of hell. Adobe is just one company - you should have belief on yourself.
