Millionaire by 30, going to be around 200k short of this (married, net worth for both). Debt-free house-husband by 40. Hope that wife wants to continue working while I take care of the kids. Just bought a house hope to have it paid off in 12 years. Retire by 50 from tech work or working for money. Philanthropy (Gates foundatuon?) Kids off to college. What are/were your goal? How did things pan out? Any advice looking back?
Mine was 650k then try to "retire" and do consulting/freelance/open source in a LCOL area. I'm 200k off that right now and will likely hit 650k next year, but I'm realizing that probably isn't enough. I also did some side hustle consulting this year and realized it wasn't all I thought it was cracked up to be. So now I'm not sure what my goals are... Will likely have kids in the next two years though, so maybe it doesn't matter lol.
I'm just trying not to get shot
Just want to be happy.

How are you going to be a millionaire at 30 and not be debt-free until 40?
I stopped making long term plans because they keep changing. Ha. I do have some goals but I don’t think much about them because life’s unpredictable.
Life is going to happen fast. No guarantees the high TC will continue. Kids are going to put a big dent into your plans good luck!
