I have worked at FANGs for several years and had prior experience. While not at the end of my career, I have reached financial stability and want to optimize for WLB, can't take 50+ hours/week anymore. I have deep tech management experience at senior levels.
Unfortunately I keep being rejected by lower tier companies, while top tier companies are still reaching out.
I know it may sound silly, but... what is the path to succeed in getting a decent position in middle tier companies? I can't get it.
Rejected by: (partial list) Twitter Zillow Expedia Adobe Coinbase
Worked for/got offers from: FB Amazon Apple Google
Any good no drama middle tier company with smart people? A bit more dynamic than pure rest and vest?
Thanks all for your honest feedback.
