I’ve done about 100 Leetcode and I have 12 paid mock interviews lined up that I haven’t completed yet. Planning on going through “Grokking the System Design Interview” as well.

I know some of the names listed at the top have a very high bar, but I’m hoping this is a big enough list that I’ll at least get a bite from one company to facilitate my move to the West Coast.

YoE: 5, TC: 175k

Interesting. I’m coming up with a thirty-two point three three (repeating of course) percent chance of survival.

With 5 yoe, you should expect 350K TC from these companies... 175k TC is for new grads

And these companies will expect you lead things at some scope

@Linkedin - you are being a bit optimistic? 350k is L5 pay and 5 yoe at non-FANG is far more likely to get slotted at L4. Also 175k for new grad is a great offer, like 90th percentile good.

Just curious - what are the companies in the practice bucket?

I notice companies like Microsoft, Salesforce, Dropbox/Box, Oracle, VMWare are also absent?

Those are all included in that bucket. Not because they aren’t fine companies, they just aren’t my top choices.

I know people did leetcode 9 times when its only 150 questions and by the 9th time he can do 50 times a day

Somewhat. I typically don’t spend more than an hour on an individual question unless it’s a hard.

I spend about 2-3 hours on studying on weeknights, and 3-5 hours on studying on weekends.

Let's say you have interviews coming up for all 12 companies you listed. Let's assume that your average offer likelihood is 10% (quite conservative). In that case, the likelihood of getting one offer is:
    1 - (1 - .1)^12 = .72
Generalized: 1 - (1 - x)^y where x is your average likelihood and y is the number of places you interview.

Your probability also changes dramatically as you advance, so prob that you are hired is maybe 0.1% at resume stage but 5% at phone screen stage and 25% at onsite stage.

People often do 700 to get into FB. 100 isn't enough when there are 15 categories of questions. You're not being serious enough for the list you cited. Don't waste Facebook's time.

It is — I’ve heard the hiring pipeline is separate, similar to LinkedIn with Msoft.
