I am really stressed about the product related questions and a/b testing. Can anyone share their experience?
I went through this loop. For the product round, you will be asked a design question on an existing app feature. Instead of a/b testing, I was asked some mathematical stats questions.
What kind of stats questions? What was the level of programming they asked you - was it just SQL or LC or data manipulation?
LC mediums and hards, SQL window stuff. Stats questions were more like what you would find at the end of a mathematical stats textbook.
The product case round is where they give you a use case with a question. You have to come up with different ways you would answer this question. The A/B testing round is similar but with a focus on metrics and how you would validate your metrics. During my interview, the product case round was more extensive whereas the A/B testing round involved things like - how do you know if this metric is significant, etc. The interviews are pretty easy, don't stress about it.
Could you please share the book or blog that I could refer to answer such questions ? I haven’t done a lot of a/b testing in my past jobs.
