LinkedIn Frontend+UI Interview Process

Hi all I am a React Developer with 2+ years of experience have applied to LinkedIn for Software Engineer Frontend+UI Entry level. I wanted to know the interview process at LinkedIn. Also wanted to know if 1hr phone technical round is more focused on Data Structures and Algorithms like other companies or it's more of UI/frontend/javascript oriented. All my experience and focus has been on Frontend/UI so wanted to understand the process and how to go about preparing for it. I am very strong at Javascript and UI side but not best when it comes to Data Structures and Algorithms. So wanted to understand if I need to focus more on DSA and practice that or it's more focused on Javascript.

Question straight from LC. You probably won’t get a design question. It is just Algorithm. 15mins - questions on JS/React 30-35mins - Coding(1 or 2 questions max) 5-10mins - Ask Interviewer any questions Questions will be straight from LC medium

Thanks

They’re unlikely to ask about React, or even Ember since LinkedIn is an Ember shop. It should just be all vanilla JS.

Phone screen is focused on several things, not deep in anything. They are testing for basic understanding of UI Dev technologies (not framework specific knowledge with react or ember). Brush up your basics in JS, CSS, HTML5. You can expect a basic code exercise as well which may touch on DS & Algorithm.

Mainly UI and JS focused. Also did you apply for Entry level or regular UI engineering? I never saw an opening for UI entry level.

The interview questions on Glassdoor are pretty accurate
