I was checking Levels.fyi and I donât see acronymised levels like L3. E5, ICT4 at LinkedIn but just regular levels like âsoftware engineerâ and âstaff software engineerâ. So based on that it seems that someone who starts out of college will be called software engineer. On Levels.fyi it says that average salary for this level is 200k! Is that correct? Itâs definitely higher than any FAANG (when considering the mean). Is there a catch or does LinkedIn just pay really well even though it is not part of the exclusive FAANG club

LI pays well for SWE but low for Sr. SWE
Compared to Amazon it's still way higher for all levels, plus way more benefits
Amazon Sr. SWEs get 300K to 375K in Seattle. LI Sr. tops out at 300K in Bay Area! Amazon Principal SDEs get 450 - 600k easily in Seattle... LI Staff starts from 400K in Bay Area.. Whatâs your TC and yoe?
