Hello Blind community, How do performance reviews work at LinkedIn and what is future of work looking like? Is your fate dependent solely on your manager’s perception of your work or do you get to solicit peer feedback each cycle? How often does performance review happen? Are managers forced to stack rank like at Amazon? How often to employees get PIPed? Is hybrid work from office and home (3/2) locked in? When is the plan to return to office? Their recruiter reached out. I am also interviewing at a couple of FANG companies. Heard good things about LinkedIn, seems their comp is also competitive but not a lot of information on these topics so looking to get more educated. Current TC - Lead @ 300k
You get to ask for peer feedback, but in the end I think it's the manager's opinion which carries the most weight. There's a mandatory annual review and a kinda-sorta voluntary mid year review. PIPs are very rare. Yes, hybrid work will be supported. Full remote requires approval and it's hard to get.
Thanks steelix!

Why I Find Free Palestine Inspiring
Offtopic, how's Salesforce? Perf? Wlb and remote? Have accepted an offer from them.
Salesforce is great overall. Ymmv depending on the team you work with. Wlb has been awesome for us and you can dictate the pace you want to work at. Remote is super chill. Lots of teams going remote with only one day a week in office for meetings n such. So ya it will be nice! Congrats on the offer.
Thanks!
