Several LinkedIn recuriters reach out expressing interest and start ghosting after I accept their interest. Is this some new way of recruitment that LinkedIn recuriters have invented? Has anyone else been through something similar? #linkedinhiring #linkedin #linkedininterview
Yup has happened every time over the past few years to me. That’s why I never respond to LinkedIn recruiters. You think this one is different but then they are all the same. Generic pitch and ghost after or before setting up phone interview.
I have encountered at least 3-4 recruiters from LinkedIn reaching out showing interest and the moment I respond they just disappear. Shameful recruiting culture.
Was super unimpressed with the linkedin recruiter. He couldn't do simple math.
Says the guy who's former CEO couldn't do simple math either
Arent they independent dude ?!
You mean they’re looking to fill positions at LinkedIn? If so send them my way.
Yeah I’ve experienced the same thing, an employer was interested but they ghosted.
It happens but usually it's just the recruiter lost track of your message or hasn't had a chance to respond. If you are interested in applying, then be persistent and consider applying directly.

Tipping culture is really getting out of control! Waiter gave me ‘a look’ because I tipped her 10% for ‘BAD service!’

Ever wonder how a few of your coworkers got hired in the first place?
Bot ?
Looks like a human in their LinkedIn profile pic. FB on the other hand has really good recruiters.
I didnt want to join fb and had a google offer. But the google recruiter was laid back and slow, whereas the fb one seemed super proactive and fast. Overall left an amazing impression on me in the process which also helped me decide
