I’ve causally rejected an invitation to learn more about the opportunity on LinkedIn by tapping that “no thanks” button in the chat view. That guy responded that I should know that my LI profile is set to Open to New Opportunities and therefore I need to update my status to turn it off. Am I misusing the app or totally misunderstand something? The fact that I am not interested in that particular opportunity does not mean I am not interested in opportunities in general.
They pay by the number of people that respond (which you did). Guess he took it badly
No. He’s just clearly offering a low quality position.
He is just salty that you turned his opportunity. He should have been grateful
Tell them you’re just not interested in their opportunity.
He’s right LinkedIn does have that setting lol
I am always open to new opportunities in LinkedIn. The best time to switch is when you are not looking ;)
