Many people have been telling me that I’m going to get upleveled since my interviews with LinkedIn went great to senior SWE.

If I do get senior, will I be getting the bare minimum of the band? If so, can I negotiate this as well

  • Don't get expectations high. It's highly unlikely that they will give ur Sr swe if you interviewed for swe especially with 1yoe. I have seen people with 7-8yoe joining as sr swe

    • Side track, but is LinkedIn generous with titles and promotions? I saw one of my friends got to Staff SWE in like 4 years, not sure if he is an amazing engineer or if LinkedIn hands out titles like candy.

      Fair enough, I only say that it might become reality since my recruiter has told me she’s in the final stages of trying to get me upleveled. I’ll find out by today what my offer is
