80 bucks to stalk people? F#*K you. Maybe just to give a big finger to LinkedIn, we should start a crowdsourced platform for publish work profiles. For workforce by workforce - of the world. Connecting talent to job / companies should be made easier, not inaccessible! Imagine a world where it’s easier to find talent just like a product on Amazon. Imagine a world where it’s easy af to find the right job (or just A job). People of all class will get access to money. Companies will grow faster. Maybe. (That idea might be worth a chat)
in such a world, recruiters may not exist
Talent on boarding + negotiation etc would still be under recruiters.
How is what your describing different from Monster/Indeed/etc? All of those job sites started out with the idea to make it easier to find qualified candidates and to make it easier for candidates to find jobs. All of them are essentially worthless at this point. I agree that the current hiring process is broke af but am not sure what the answer is.
Again, don’t think of it as a venture but as a community initiative. Something bigger than a personal gain.
Again, how is that different? You’re describing the same solution as what’s already in the market. Crowdsourcing something doesn’t magically make it more effective. Not saying you’re wrong but it’s hard to have a response when I don’t know the differentiator.
don't be naive. this is how the world works.
Doesn’t mean it’s right
Doesn’t mean it’s wrong either
tell me, uber dont track my location
That’s not $80 real dollars lol
This is cheap. Stalking is priceless!
If I give them complete access, can they create a talent+employability score (like credit score) and then we could do away with interviews? 🤖
How do you plan on earning money and not annoying the crap out of people?
Maybe AWS or Google or other cloud providers should support it as a cause. They can provide the storage. Why should they? Part of a larger cause - access to global talent. Let rest of things be supported by the community.
