Hey folks. I have onsite interviews with LinkedIn, Facebook and Dropbox for DS positions but all very product focused. I already had multiple technical interviews with them and based on the emails I got, 10%-20% of the remaining interviews focus on SQL/Python programming. The part I am worried about, which is not the heaviest part anyway, is the python coding. Anyway I can improve myself in just two weeks? Any tips on the type of questions i will be asked? @Linkedin @Facebook @Dropbox
Drop box sucks
I am trying to stay away from start ups so i will most likely not go with them anyway. I still want to try their onsite tho
What makes you shy away from startups?
I’ve been at lyft for almost two years and got almost zero raise+ no stocks refreshments. Also, there is a huge uncertainty on when we go public and how much the RSU value will be at that point. I understand it’s high risk/high rewards but I prefer to rely on cash rather paper money. I believe this is the case for most startups
Whats your level. You RSU value just doubled from 2015
Definitely doubled
Yes, it’s probably doubled (if we trust the current valuation) i did a bad job negotiating my offer and started with not a considerable amount of RSU’s.
