  • LinkedIn is the only company I have never applied for or responded to their recruiters! If it was not because of Microsoft’s acquisition, they were gone! It’s a resume sharing website popular among recruiters. In google you will have way more opportunities and can jump around and try new products/areas every year

      Haha... I was checking out some Sr Staff SWEs at LI. Got underwhelmed :(
      Most of them built
      career on javascript, html, css, node.js. Yes most work on some of those opensource frameworks that never stops coming 😡

      Many has around 5-7 yoe. That’s a lot of money LI wasting on these people. With such experience level they won’t go beyond L5 at Amazon. No wonder they almost went bankrupt. And their algorithms and data quality suck big time.

  • I am LI, but I don’t recommend because I am planning jump to google. Li scope is very small
