got offers from both Linkedin and Uber. Both teams are working on projects that I am interested in. It is more about career growth and compensation. Linkedin: Senior Software Engineer base: 175k annual bonus: 10% rsu: 300k, 4 years sign on: 40k. Uber: Software Engineer || base: 155k annual bonus: 15k rsu: 360k, 4 years sign on: they are still working on it 3 yoe Any recommendation on which company should I go with?
Great offer for 3 yoe from LinkedIn. Base is pretty high for senior with given yoe.
Can I know for Uber how many questions did you have for each interview? And were they hard or medium LC?
I think Uber changed their onsite interview process. I had 2 coding rounds, 1 system design, 1 hiring manager and 1 bar raiser. The questions are not typical LC questions. They are more open ended. But I would say not tricky LC hard questions
Can I ask the difficult level of CodeSignal online assessment? Was it LC Medium/hard ?
@op how long before Uber gets back to you with the interview results?
I had other offers so they got back to me within 2 days

Was uber level 4? (Swe2?)
yes
Personally I would favor Uber if they can come up closer on the base, and get in writing with manager a plan for promotion in 6months or so if possible
