Let's compile a list. These companies don't have to be full remote but any company that at least advertises some remote positions for software engineers. I'll start: Facebook Slack Splunk Atlassian Coinbase Reddit Zillow Indeed Twilio Twitter Square Dropbox Okta Stripe #tech #remotework
Salesforce. May not be positioned as permanently remote, but you will be able to work remotely indefinitely.
Oliverq how did you come up with this? There was no such official comms
You guys do seem to have some roles advertised as remote on your career site, though probably still the exception.
Official is remote *at least* until July 21. If you express legitimate concern about safety in going back, you will be able to prolong it. Flexible work schedule and location is also a thing. Unless you are a low performers or have a shit manager, it will continue. There are roles that will hire specifically into remote, but they are not common. In a normal world, it would only be for experienced engineers. However, all starts in the US now are remote. If one can prove themselves with a good track record for delivery, they will be allowed to continue, or they can OOM into a team that will allow it. Edit: important to clarify that you are correct, in that it's not formal policy. It is a very realistic scenario that individuals will be allowed to continue remote, certainly during the phased reopening without assigned desks.

Hubspot
Is Hubspot any good? I read that Dan Lyons book and it sounded like a tragicomic shitshow.
