Is living in the bay area that bad? I have an offer from Google in MTV for full time new grad, and reading posts on here seems like life there will be lonely and depressing. I'm a single male in my early 20s.
Yes, please don’t move, we have enough guys here. It’s already a sausage-fest!
Bay Area is amazing. I'm never leaving.
Give it a shot. Live conservatively, and make it a point to have a social life. I’ve been here for 7 year and don’t want to leave. If you’re in your twenties, just use it for experience and leave in a few years.
Honestly not bad - the people who have trouble meeting others are generally the same people you wouldn’t want to hang with lol
It’s pretty good actually as long as your income is high enough
Go for it. You tell us in 1 year.
Don’t come here, 880, 680,280 , 101 everything is jam packed every morning and evening We don’t need more
Traffic sucks so if you wasn’t to be near work told have to pay like 3k-4K a month for rent. Otherwise you’ll commute at least an hour each way.
Depends what's your TC?

Honestly other than buying a house being very difficult, I feel like everything else about living in the Bay Area is fine ... I don't really see anything wrong with it that that's not found in other parts of the country. It's got good weather, good food, relatively close to some decent weekend getaway places, amazing career opportunities etc. I will say though that the people here sometimes seem like they've gone off the deep end a bit with the SJW crap and there's always a lot of people who constantly complain about this and that, but end up staying anyways.
