London Relocation advise
Got an offer from FAANG company in London. TC 100k GBP + 180k USD stocks for 4 years. I have done some research and found out that TC is not that great but considering it is a FAANG company I would like to join, given that I'm not doing anything awesome in my current company. Now this decision to join comes with some serious implication, My wife has to give up her job. She currently works in a non FAANG company but there are ample benefits and very good WLB, which gives her time to take good care of our 3 year old daughter. I'm really confused if it is a right move to take up the new opportunity. Is it easy enough to get a tech job in London with someone who hasn't been in touch with preparation for a long time. And not looking to get a job in FAANG. A medium paying job with a good WLB is what my wife is looking for? Current CTC is 37LPA. Currently working in India

There are plenty of non FAANG companies in London which can offer WLB for your wife. I'd say research the work visa scene for your wife and make a decision.
Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure but when I contacted my recruiter, he was saying that my wife can start working immediately with the visa provided by them. I'm assuming that my wife does not need any special visa
In that case, I'm not seeing much of a downside. She can take take a little time off and get to work. Having FAANG on your resume is worth a little hardship. Good luck.
