Looking to invest in Call options expiring in 2022 for Apple, Airbnb, Splunk, Palantir etc. Donโt have enough capital to make a 200k portfolio. So Buying options by paying 30k premium seems to be a good bet. Even if 1 option goes ๐, it offsets all other losses. Any thoughts on this strategy given stonks only go up. #tech #stocks #options

You can buy SPY puts as insurance in case the market crashes. For however much I buy calls I buy 10% of puts in SPY.
Sometimes itโs better to just sell quick if there are large gains early. Often times those gains will be lost in the near term which creates another opportunity to buy calls after already collecting your winnings. For example if you see a 75%+ gain within a month of buying you might just want to take the win and hope that it drops down again.
