Hey guys, I know a lot of people are changing jobs right now and it's a great time to join Atlassian. I've helped a ton of people here get interviews and somewhere around 20 get hired. We are still rapidly growing with ambitious future goals, beginning to offer more competitive pay, have a remote first culture for all roles, and great WLB. Honestly the best company I've worked for. Use my referral link to get past the screening where most resumes get over looked Edit: please don't apply for more than 3 roles as to not overwhelm our recruiters, thanks! https://jobs.lever.co/atlassian?lever-via=9YQlqaK5QS If you have questions or would like me to submit for you just DM me. For swes I can help with the process and what to expect. But any role or location is eligible for a referral. #hiring #jobopening #recruiting
Min experience required for P5 engineering role?
Generally 5 years. Sometimes can get away with 4 if you're very good.
Define good? 😁
Is it available for India?
Yup we have lots of India roles available. Check the link I provided and feel free to apply or DM me for more info!
Can you tell us about the interview process? Do they generally ask LC easy/med/hard? And also how many rounds? This is for SWE. I’ve 12 YOE. What level can I apply for?
Coding is more practical based and is to gauge how you think, communicate, and ask questions not some LC hards you have to memorize beforehand. Our process is recruiter screen -> tech screen (system design) -> onsite (2 coding rounds, 1 SD, 1 technical background overview with HM, and 1 culture fit)
Thanks! What are the chances for the resume getting picked with non-tech companies on it?
1. Hiring also for India? 2. How feasible is it to transfer from India to abroad (US/EU)?
Yep tons of open roles in India. Generally possible once you are at the company for over a year. We have a number of employees who have done this.
Interested! Applied like a month ago and no response
Same here
It happens more now unfortunately due to the large influx of apps we've had. A referral definitely greatly increases chances of getting noticed and I'm happy to follow up with recruiters as well if you haven't heard back by 2-3 weeks max.
Can I DM you?
Yup
Know anything about marketing teams/roles? Couldn't find comp on levelS.fyi which concerned me. I applied 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything but my background is a match for role.
Unfortunately I don't know much about comp for marketing. Keep in mind our recruiters are very backed up right now so it may take them a while to see your application even. We are trying to resolve this but we have a massive influx of applicants.
Are all roles offering remote?
Yup everything is remote first
Remote globally or need to be us citizen?
TC….??
Depends on location, level, and role. I only really know for SWE roles. p4 in Bay area location goes up to around 260-270k TC and p5 (senior) around 330k TC. Sometimes this can be pushed higher for people that are exceptionally good.
Thanks for the info!!! It’s very appreciated. But I mean your TC. 😊
