Hi, I used to be very good in coding DS/Algo. I was a blue coder in TopCoder and participated in ACM-ICPC etc. All these happened during college. I passed out of college 10 years ago! I had an injury in my bottom spinal cord and after 15 years of physiotherapy and pain killer tablets I am finally completely cured now. The drugs were inducing drowsiness prevented me from being passionate/proactive/creative at work. Hence I am still only SDE2 (L62) at Microsoft, after switching multiple companies like Amazon etc. Now that I am completely cured, I am looking for mentors who could help me catch-up with my career. I need some guidance as to what books to read etc and how to plan my free time so that I am successful leader. Currently I am working in Azure. I would be really greatfull if someone could be my mentor. Thanks!
I know a person from google who does that really good , I myself am his student . I Would ask him to ping u
Thank you so much!
What does he do exactly?
bruh
+1. Why don’t you have the discussion on here for others to benefit from it as well
Agreed!
Ok, here goes - my manager asks me to be passionate at work. Ie, don't look at your area of ownership alone but attach yourself with the problems faced in other parts of the team. If I spend so much time & energy, I feel what I am going to learn from it. Will the effort be useful for me etc.
Leetcode. You need to awaken your skill to code ds/algo problems.
I am not looking for interview preparations. I am looking for a mentor to grow my career within Microsoft.
What's your goal and vision?
I would like to discuss and form a goal & vision. I want to learn technologies so that I am relevant in the job market for the long term.
That's great, seems that you have the drive.
