I work as an independent Senior Business Analyst consultant in the Investment management industry mostly focusing on large technology projects billing via my LLC. I would like to move away from this industry as premium consulting opportunities are shrinking given the downward spiral the industry is in. I don't code but can do Sql and understand technology at a high level. Pretty good understanding of the Investment Management busines. Looking to move to Fintech as a product manager. Please provide some guidance on what companies I can target at similar compensation. TC - 375k (varies based on billing hours) YoE - 15 #product #productmanager #pm
Why downward spiral?
Money is moving to passive strategies leaving active managers with declining AUM and revenues. Lot of consolidation in the industry with mergers and acquisitions leading to mass layoffs which has resulted in increased labor supply competing for limited jobs leading to reduction in salaries.
