Is rent in L.A. high right now? Particulary in the South Bay. Rents seems to be way higher than the zestimate. COVID related? Will it go down by next summer?#housing
There’s this thing called The Google, I hear you can use it to, like, search for stuff
? Google is so 90s
No. The (real) South Bay is here in socal and the rents have been pretty steady pre pandemic. A 3/2 SFH has always been 3500-4000.
I’m okay with 4 but a decent place is now going for at least 4500
Is Gardena upcoming in South Bay for renters ?
It’s not up and coming. There are good safe areas but there are sketch ones too. Not terribly unsafe but would I walk my kid in a stroller after dark, no.
Good point. I have seen good gated communities around there have rents going up every year. Specially with WFH trend in tech, lot of families are looking for bigger nicer homes slightly further away from Silicon beach which is bumping up rents in Inglewood, Gardena, Torrance specially good, gated, new apartment complexes.
LA does not have a south bay
Yes it does - look at Marina Del Rey
Lol OldMc obviously not from LA area. South Bay in Socal is the Torrance area
