Amazon Devices team (MAKO)

A lot of people from Amazon say, “it depends on the team/manager.” What are your thoughts on this team?

The recruiter made sure he said ML as much as possible. He also mentioned a lot of people are trying to get on this particular team as well. I was just curious if that’s the real sentiment. Is there a lot of actual ML work? What’s the WLB like? Is this a good career move? Is this green field work or would I be supporting work that’s already been done (aka bug fixing)?

I’d be joining as an SDE. The recruiter said if I’m not interested in the team, they will look for another team for me within Amazon.
