Microsoft Offer Eval - Operations Program mgr
Looking for some help for this potential offer from Microsoft. Talked to recruiter Friday evening to confirm total comp which then I asked for 150k-170k. After she said it would be doable with the below break down
Base - 125k
RSU - 25-30k for 1 yr
Sign on- did not mention
The recruiter mentioned 125k was the max which I am okay with right now. But I have seen a lot of offers on here containing multi year sign on RSU and decent sign on bonuses. She did go on to talk about the yearly bonus I would receive next year, annual RSU bonus, and other microsoft perks. Should I ask for more RSUs and sign on when negotiations start? If so how much? Any other input will be much appreciated.

DC-MD-VA / would be remote unless might have to go into VA office. My director would be in Redmond

So your RSUs are 100k-150k?
Did they mention the level? 60-61? Target bonus would be 10%.
Principal begins at level 64 (in the US).
Here are the US ranges up through 66, with the target being what most people receive if meeting expectations:
60: 0-16k (target 8k)
61: 0-24k (target 12k)
62: 0-32k (target 16k)
63: 0-44k (target 22k)
64: 0-60k (target 30k)
65: 0-90k (target 45k)
66: 0-160k (target 80k)
Keep in mind these were just increased last year.
