Sorry for yet another comp expectation post but I did not find anything relevant so posting it here. I need to get back with my comp expectation for Lyft PM T6/M1 role at SF. Current job and comp: Senior PM @ Microsoft. Redmond, WA. 8+ years exp. BS in CS and MBA. $185k (base + bonus), $30k in stocks and $20k in benefits (espp, 401k, tuition etc). $150k unvested stocks
You'll get a small bump in base and some 4x increase in paper money
When did Lyft open an office at the airport?
Good catch. Fixed
So what was the offer
$240k base, $50k sign on and $1.25M RSU over 4 years. Supposedly this is the cap for T6/M1
What would be an equivalent offer at FB?
There’s a cost of living and state tax penalty to move to SF but but you didn’t lose any liquid $ in this transaction and gained 1.25M in near IPO RSUs. Kudos! They also gave you the RSU you asked for. Do you feel you could have asked for more?
That was after lot of negotiation and with counter offers from other companies.
Cool. By the way check out this thread on Lyft / Private company RSUs "Double Trigger RSUs at Lyft" https://us.teamblind.com/s/H2N0ActK
What does a T6/M1 line up to as a title? Is this Group Product Manager or Director?

Why give them a number? I would first ask them what the salary, bonus and RSU range is for this role at Lyft in SF. Also, are you at the offer stage or pre-interview?
