Lyft phone reimbursement

Will the Lyft phone reimbursement benefit reimburse you if you are under a family plan? If so, will they only reimburse the portion for your phone, or the entire bill up to $130? #benefits

It’s important. If u have nothing to say ... get off my lawn.

Uber Mr. Stonks Jan 27, 2020

The government offers free phones for those that qualify, I would explore that avenue if I were you

Roku Wu Zetian OP Jan 27, 2020

Sure. But I don’t take govt handouts like Uber.

Lyft LmRM52 Jan 27, 2020

No. Things have changed.

Roku Wu Zetian OP Jan 27, 2020

They used to? So now they will only pay 130 for a single line?

Lyft LmRM52 Jan 28, 2020

No. Only T Mobile benefits

Lyft biz1 Jan 28, 2020

Now it's only $60 max and only your portion of the bill. Or you can enter a free calls-free data plan that the company itself provides.

Full coverage for TMobile business plan (worth $25, comes with unlimited calls, text, MMS and LTE network in NAmerica, plus some international coverage), or reimbursement up to $60 per month for non TMobile carrier options of your choice. If you go with TMobile you can port your # over. For employee's line only.

If I port my number to tmobile business plan, can the number be released when moving out of the company? Also, does it impact ability to but mobile phones on installments?

Comscore passerby Apr 2, 2020

@RScP24 - Re: can number be moved - yes. When you leave the company, Lyft gives you one additional month of TMobile phone coverage, so you can find a provider and port your number back out.
