Considering an offer at Lyft, and being able to be fully remote at some point is important to me. I hear that these decisions are made on a case by case basis - can anyone comment on what that entails and how feasible it is to become fully remote?
Where did you hear this
It’s an adjustment based on COL of remote location

Everything seems great with this guy, except basic attraction. What to do? My friends say it’s no big deal
They need a very high level (exec) approval so it is really case by case. OTOH some managers are more chill and it's not like there is a GPS tracker in you yet but if you want to go live in Hawaii officially approved it makes more sense to take Lyft offer and ask somewhere with a remote friendly policy to match it. CEO does not believe people are productive without office life
Thanks! By exec approval do you literally mean C-level exec or do you mean something lower down like director of the org?
We have something called ELT (exec leadership team) so I think that starts one level above director
