I worked at a few multi billion l/s equity hedge funds for about 4-5 years but don’t have any knowledge of coding. Graduated from one of the top 3-5 schools with a major in Econ. I took math courses up to diff eq (was considering double major until sophomore year) but that was +10 years ago...

Are those 2-6 month python courses (general assembly, etc) good enough to help you break into quant trading, or at least be good enough to start doing some quant trading on your own? Or would I be better off just buying a few udemy courses? Or should I assume I should just go back to school for a masters in math/stats?

Why would you try to break into a ridiculously competitive field where you have no edge a decade into your career?
