I have seen blind post where people are complaining about tc going down due to stock going down. This is first time I will be getting RSU, so want to understand how they work.
Let's say I get 50k/yr rsu as initial offer. Now meta has quarterly vesting schedule.
Question 1 : When am I allocated #of rsu ? At the time of joining based on last month avg price or every quarter based on last month avg price and they vest in next quater ?
Question 2: If answer to first question is latter, does it mean RH, docu RSU allocation is different than meta and thus they loose money ?
#meta #robinhood #docusign #doordash

Yes people do quit because of stock depreciation because you are literally working for less money than people that join after you and can make more if you bail. If the employee is lucky/good they may get a retention grant to prevent that but it is the exception not the rule.
