Hello everyone, currently a freshman in college(Houston TX). I’m stuck between choosing my major right now. I have a genuine passion to learn the language of Business. a little about me I’m an ENFP, Only reason I would want to pick accounting is to Gather experience in Big 4, get CPA, eventually open my own practice to continue to surround myself around the different business models out there while helping. However my surroundings keep telling me I wont like accounting and that I will have lots of homework. also considering MIS is because I also like the idea of helping Business’s connect tech with business. been on Blind enjoying the TC conversations. I just want something to pick that I can in the future still have a work life balance.

Accounting will be automated in the next decade and you will have a flood of CPAs looking for something to do.

Currently my intent is to only go for the BBA
Well, since accounting is under the business dept, can you just get a bba degree with a specialization or minor in accounting?
