I just heard back from Apple San Diego that they are going to extend me an offer for the SEG group (Verification Engineer) .I have around 7 years of experience and I was wondering about the salary expectations. I am going to talk to the recruiter soon and before that wanted to know what ballpark figure I can ask for. Can I ask for ICT4 ? I heard Apple has only 12 days of PTO? Is that negotiable? Also can we use up all the sick days in a year? I have unlimited PTO's now and that is why I am asking.

Sick time about the same
Work hour flexibility — is 100% dependent on your first line manager at apple. So is location. Apple doesn’t have a WFH policy and their policy is to come into the office unless your role has needs otherwise. But, If your director says they like people in desks but your first manager doesn’t care, you can WDF. Similarly, if your cross functional partners’ managers let them WFH and you need to be in there, then you need to be in there.
Immediate manager has the ability to control your entire workday at Apple. Also, those frequently change and people get re-org’d all the time.
I’d recommend you not get attached to a policy and you assume you will be working in the office every day with the exception of the occasional plumber/doctors appt/etc
Day start and times — also highly dependent on your immediate manager. They can require you to be flexible on nights and weekends, or be very respectful of those boundaries.
