My goal is to to someday create and build my own startup or with a co-founder.
I am currently in a dilemma if I should do a masters and get some exposure from US work culture and network ( it may just be FOMO of missing out since many of my batchmates are doing so )
Or should I just switch roles and gain more experience here.
Would like to know if the masters title helps in investment/pitches?
In case startup scene fails,
Does the MS help in gaining promotions 5-6 years down the road?
Staying in US is not a priority. Just need ROI of masters.I will want to come back to India someday coz of the social circle and family here anyway

And if you remain here, even with $5M you are still Middle class.
Whether life is better or not, it's quite subjective and varies from person to person.
Fortunately I am well sorted in Bangalore. So only question is whether I am missing out on a lot of not doing masters and working in th US.
But working and building a startup I feel is easier here due to the connections
I have more freedom, away from family has its perks. You can really do the independent thing.
If you wanna do the startup thing, stay in India, it'll take a while for you to get a green card for your startup aspirations. 6-7 years down the line, unless you get married to an American citizen.
