MSFT stock has done spectacular under Satya. The guy before him was a total stock price loser. MSFT insiders, is it the new direction under Satya improving the stock price or something else.
The market is good right now. Quite a few top IT companies are at their all time high. Might just be the market, not the CEO. When the bubble bursts, they will crumble. It's sort of started already. Netflix is a warning sign.
From an outsider point of view it definitely looks like they have a very changed attitude towards the software ecosystem - embracing open source etc. It’s easier to change culture from the top, if not the only way. Yet, so many CEOs with good intentions fail. Do you think it’s because he was not brought in but rather grew up to the position, that accounts for the success? Pichai, Cook ... May be I’m getting survivorship bias (or appropriate bias).
I like Satya than many CEOs. Grew from Engineer to CEO.
All the cool announcements of Satya were sponsored and developed during Balmer... Satya may affected the stock price for few months but the rest is the market...
Yes..he is the guy...he is changing the way Microsoft operates and the way outsiders think about it. When all company stocks were falling..Microsoft stood steady. Check Google and apple stock from last 2 years.
I believe a reason for the growth of the numbers and performance can at times will increase but down turn on the bubbles related to bull markets will close upward from last year and year.
You good?
Wtf is this?
