Considering both MSFT and FB. Curious about TC at MSFT as the role is a bit sexier. Product YOE = 9. TC now 290k.
If you are coming to an Engineering PM role at Level 64, MICROSOFT should be able to at least match your current TC, will probably beat it.
you mean program manager?
Recruiter said that MSFT doesn’t use the term “product manager” but “program manager” instead. In my current work a program manager is a project manager - the role that keeps the trains running on time. So yes, in MSFT parlance “program manager”.
program manager at msft is a product manager, not a project manager
MS doesn't have product managers outside Yammer. If you're going for Project Manager, it's probably MCS in which case sprint the opposite direction
