To Apple, or not to Apple?
Background: I'm in a web development coding boot camp right now and the Lenovo Yoga computer that I'm using is starting to have audio, orientation, and display glitches and so I need a new laptop asap. I had a MacBook through my previous job (non-coding related) for 2 years and didn't have any issues with it so I am leaning in that direction but I don't have an iPhone so the whole Apple-is-life thing is a non-factor.
The question is 2-part: Should I get a mac or go with windows? For engineer roles, is there a norm for what a company will provide?
