The end of Backdoor Roth?!
Can someone please help me with suggestions on best Machine Learning Certifications? I do not have a CS/IT background. Hardcore Mechanical Engineer who needs some guidance. Thanks.
Machine Learning Coursera by Andrew Ng... All you need is some linear algebra background and willingness to learn
Thank you so much. Yeah, I am good with Algerbra.
Lin alg or algebra? Very different haha.
You get a certificate too that you can put on linked in
Start with Stanford statistical learning, they give you a certificate (as this seems to be important for you) and provide you a really good overview of ML. The assignments are in R though but in practice you just need to do the quizzes. They also have an actual AI grad certificate (many courses - paid) https://scpd.stanford.edu/public/category/courseCategoryCertificateProfile.do?certificateId=1226717&method=load If you wanted just to learn then it'd be a different discussion. You have the Deep Learning book, open Stanford classes on NLP (CS224N) and CV (CS231N) and Berkeley Reinforcement Learning course, all of them amazing but you need to have some basic ML knowledge, which both coursera course or statistical learning provide, and oc know your math. The Deep Learning book cover all math needed before diving into DL btw. Good luck
Read the book deep learning from Ian Goodfellow and the www.fast.ai :)
certificates aren't worth the paper they are printed on. get a CS master's degree.
Can't advice on certifications, but there is a Udacity course that we are being directed to use. Likely you will also from me options on Coursera
Do you know the name of that course on Udacity by any chance? Also, I am looking for something more validating than just an online video. Thanks.
There are several. Artificial Intelligence (requires application), machine learning, and deep learning. I see the Coursera one reccomended more often. There is a group on FB called Artificial Intelligence & Deep Learning that can help point you to the right course and they have mentors.
