what will be the TC for ML and AI jobs? Thinking of changing carrier from hardware to software.
Machine Learning
I am sorry it does not work like that . You don't choose the next transition base on TC . What do you have to offer ? Now there are lot of companies who work on neural network AI hardware but I don't think that's what you are looking for
There used to be supply and demand imbalance in AI - not any more thanks to the hype and we have hundreds of bright PhD candidates in AI that we can pick a few of them. They will have legit papers with demonstrated accomplishments in the field, whereas you would be older, you would demand more things and you have less track record of success in relevant areas. Why would we pick you given we would hire only a few for the high TC jobs?
Hahah fck I’m in that position right now. I finished my PhD in RF/MmW (2018), a topic that was hot when I started. Market is now saturated. I have 12yoe, so my TC and demands are a bit higher then a new grad. :/ So I find myself struggling to transition out of RF.
Dude, electromagnetics is a century old. Try apple as your best bet.
How difficult to hardware engineer to do something in biotech field and get fat TC !
Biotech will not pay more than HW
What are the jobs pay lot of money 💰 ?
Why ML?
