I have an interview scheduled for MLE at Facebook. I currently work as Software engineer at Microsoft in machine learning domain. My current work mostly involves around writing infra, inference and service code to deploy NLP models developed by Applied Science folks in production. I am an ML enthusiastic but never really went deep into studying it (Andrew NG courses are the only thing I have done). Recruiter at FB told me that apart from general coding there will be two system design interviews 1. Machine learning system design 2. General system design I am kind of worried about not knowing enough ML for ML system design. If I have a month what resources would you recommend to get ramped up for ML design interviews? Current TC: 230k MSFT level: 64 YOE: 5 years (3 in Kernel/Systems + 2 in current ML team) #machinelearning #machinelearningengineer

Nice level for your YOE. TC is without stock appreciation I am guessing. Do grokking ML design course
Nope! When I joined I got only 5k$ worth of shares. I got laid off after 3 months of coming to US (NetApp laid me off). The MSFT recruiter knew and basically gave me “take it or leave it” offer. I didn’t negotiate and ended up with no stock appreciation. I then got promoted almost every year at MSFT The grokking ML design course looks good and seems worth the money. I will get it. Thank you for recommendation.
Amazing grit. Congrats. What's your base like 190?
Can someone refer me to this role? ^
