There were some people asking in the past about moving to Florida. This is a reason why you don't want to move to a city where there are few tech jobs. I never understood why ML was taken so seriously in the AR/VR/MR community. They had a vision, sure. But the hardware was not ready for release at all.
They needed super fast tracking models that wouldn't overheat or drain the power of their devices. They did need a ton of people to work on those areas. Did those organizations turn into bloated and obnoxiously political empires? Absolutely
Drain the power? Is a plug-in a deal breaker? Why?

Funny hearing from people who haven't got a clue about anything Magic Leap actually accomplished. Hearing some talk would make you believe Magic Leap doesnt even have a product out.

They have this many employees for a product no one cares....Something was wrong but gets corrected now
Anyways it was a useless product fooling consumers with a half baked product - all these VR / AR companies just waste time - get back to actual work.

There were a lot of hype without any product. What happened to that hype?
Curious to know if you have tried it? Most people who do are really impressed by it. (Certainly on par with anything else on the market). I haven’t worked there for awhile but i still think it’s the most advanced mixed reality headset that exists.
